For many years Deutsche Tiernahrung Cremer has been pursuing a consistent research and development programme addressing far-reaching improvements in straight and compound feedstuffs.
With opticon® technology we have achieved a trail-blazing further development of known extrusion technology. This pressurised hydrothermal process leads to a high level of material transformation in straight feedstuffs and compound feeds through purely physical means, without the use of additives.
Today opticon® technology is used at home and abroad to make well-known and highly regarded special products:
- the rumen-protected, protein-rich special feed for high-yielding dairy cows deukalac UDP 39
- and the grain package optigrain® – processed by pressurised hydrothermal treatment – for use in piglet rearing feeds.
